ABOUT ME
Tina L. Johnson joined Chi Nu Chapter in Spring 1992 on the campus of Jacksonville State University, Jacksonville, AL and is currently a member of Iota Xi Zeta in Lake City, SC. She held previous membership in Epsilon Chi Zeta, Florence SC and Mu Pi Zeta, Beaufort SC. From January 2017 through June 2022, Tina L. Johnson served the State of South Carolina as the board chair in an elected and appointed capacity.
A THRIVING CAREER
Ms. Johnson is the principal of Greenwood Elementary School in Florence, SC and has served as the school’s first black principal and instructional leader since July 2022. She has been in the field of education for over 21 years impacting the lives of students and empowering future leaders.
EDUCATION
Undergraduate studies were completed at Jacksonville State University. Tina Johnson subsequently earned three master degrees to include Educational Leadership from the University of South Carolina in Columbia. Currently, she maintains a 4.0 toward her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership. She also earned a Certificate in Theology from Morris College Ministerial Extension Program.
